The sea is also called by the names Sagar, Payodhi, Udadhi, Paravar, Nadeesh, Jaladhi, Sindhu, Ratnakar, Waridhi , mahasagar, jalbhandaar etc. Earth is not even a particle of dust in the universe. Even today there’s quite 70 percent water on this earth. This earth has carried water quite 10 times the load of the world . There is more water on earth than people .The human population lives is only 20 to 25 percent on the earth, in that too there are forests, deserts, mountains and rivers. Only 20 to 25 percent of this area is filled with
secrets. In such a situation, humans have not been able to see even 70 to 75 percent of the sea or ocean. Since ancient times, people have been trying to travel to the ocean and learn its secrets and their are lot more. In earlier times, people used to go from one shore to another along the sea.
Not just saline water: Seas spread over 70 percent of the surface of the earth are basically a continuous body of salt water, that is, its water is not even a little drinkable. After bathing in it for a while, your body will become sticky And the body will be tight. Human beings cannot live in sea
water for a long time. However, he has developed marine suits for this. Still, we have to say that some sea water is not just saline and sometimes it is sweet, but not drinkable.
Earlier there was only one sea, then there were 3 and now there are many. The sea is also called ‘Samundar’ .There are oceans larger than the seas and the sea surrounded by 3 sides is called the Gulf. Although all the oceans are connected to each other.
- Ocean: The part of the Earth, which is surrounded by huge water body (saline water) And full of secrets, is called ocean. Where many animals live, we also call sea creatures,70 percent of the Earth is surrounded by oceans Or water . The Pacific , Atlantic , Indian Ocean , Arctic Ocean and Southern Ocean are the entire 5 oceans. The Pacific and therefore the reform the Atlantic are both within the hemisphere and the hemisphere , therefore the North Pacific Ocean is found north of the equator
and the Southern Pacific is found to the south. Thus there are 7 oceans or 7 seas in total. It is noteworthy that Antarctica has quite 400 lakes under icy ground.
- Sea: The large area of saline water which is connected to the ocean is called ‘Sea’. Caspian Sea, Dead Sea, Red Sea, North Sea, Laptev Sea, Mediterranean Sea etc.
3.Gulf: The a part of water which is surrounded by the terrain on three sides is named ‘Gulf’. Gulf are almost synonyms of ocean. The Arabian Gulf and the Bay of Bengal are more famous and much populated.
In Hindu scriptures, the sea is divided into 7 parts – the sea of salts, the sea of Iksurus, the sea of Sura, the sea of butter, the ocean of Dadhi, the ocean of Kshira and the ocean of sweet water. There is sea on 3 sides of India. Andhra Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Goa, Gujarat, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Daman and Diu and the Lakshadweep
group are the coastal states of India.
